Sweet Potato Hickory Nut Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 c. hickory nuts
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. water
1 stick butter
dash of salt
Preparation

Make crust with 5 heaping tablespoonfuls flour, 1 heaping tablespoonful shortening and water to mix.
Roll on cloth (1/2 of mixture), add to half of potatoes and brown in 400\u00b0 oven.
Then repeat with remainder of potatoes.
Add top crust and bake.
Serve hot.
