Deep South Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. dark brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. chili sauce
    1 sour pickle, chopped
    4 slices lemon
    1 hot green or red pepper
Preparation
    Cook slowly until butter melts.
    Keep warm.
    May be used in outdoor barbecuing to baste meat or an oven roast.
    May be sliced and simmered in sauce. Good with pork, lamb or beef.
    Sufficient for four of five pounds of meat.
