Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 lb. cranberries, cut in halves
1/2 c. whole pecans
peel from 1 orange, grated
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
Make a well and add the egg, butter, juice and water.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Fold in cranberries, nuts and orange peel.
Bake in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until the bread tests done.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
Yield:
1 loaf.
