Milk Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 c. water
    3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook the rice and water according to package directions. Pour milk into a heavy pan and add the rice and salt.
    Cook on low heat until thick and creamy, about 30 minutes or longer, stirring often.
    Add the sugar and margarine.
    Mix and when all is warm, turn off and add the vanilla and a shake of cinnamon and serve.
