Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. meal
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    approximately 1 c. buttermilk
    1 lb. weiners
Preparation
    Stir up meal, flour, salt, soda and onion together well.
    Add buttermilk.
    Dip weiners in batter and cook in hot fat.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Serve as sandwiches.
