Chocoholics' Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
3 oz. grated chocolate (approximately 1/3 c. mini morsels or chips)
oil for frying
Preparation

Blend dry ingredients.
Add beaten egg and milk, stirring until smooth.
Fold in grated chocolate and pour into pitcher or funnel. In heavy skillet, pour oil 1/3-inch deep and heat oil to 390\u00b0. Pour thin stream of batter from pitcher or funnel in form of circle, starting in center, circling, but not stopping until you get desired size.
Fry until golden brown.
With a fork in each hand, turn and fry until golden.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately with powdered sugar.
