Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    pepper
    salt
    1 large can tomatoes, chopped fine
    1/2 large head cabbage, thinly sliced
    1 lb. frozen mixed vegetables
    6 c. tomato juice or V-8
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    The longer the better!
    You can leave out or add to depending on what you have on hand.
