Roast Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-4 lb. chicken
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    butter
    basil to taste
Preparation
    Wash chicken thoroughly and pat dry.
    Sprinkle cavity with salt and pepper.
    Place in slow cooker and dot with butter. Sprinkle with basil and cover.
    Cook on high 1 hour and turn on low and cook an additional 8-10 hours.
