Mansion Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. presweetened cherry Kool-Aid
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    2 qt. water
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. hot water
    2 cans pineapple juice
    8 (36 oz.) bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    Mix Kool-Aid, sugar and jello in the 4 cups of hot water.
    Add pineapple juice and cold water to mixture.
    Divide into 2 portions and freeze in large plastic containers for 24 hours or longer. Remove from freezer 1 hour prior to serving.
    Chop to slushy consistency.
    Add ginger ale.
    Can be stretched with additional ginger ale.
    Yield:
    150 (4 ounce) servings.
    Variation: Substitute strawberry Kool-Aid and jello.
