Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. berry juice
    1 c. blackberries
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until smooth.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, soda and spices together.
    Add alternately with juice.
    Use mixer for above.
    Add berries by hand.
    Bake in three 9-inch cake pans at 350\u00b0 until brown.
