Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
1 onion
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Grate potatoes and onions; drain off extra liquid. Add eggs, flour, salt and pepper.
Stir to make smooth batter.
Drop spoonful of batter into hot shortening.
Fry until brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Very good with applesauce or sour cream.
