Shrimp Monroe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 small bunch green onions
    1 lb. cooked shrimp
    8 oz. sliced mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 oz. carton sour cream
    2 oz. sherry
Preparation
    Finely mince green onions.
    Saute with sliced mushrooms in butter and garlic.
    Add shrimp and cook briefly with vegetables. Blend flour in sherry and add to shrimp mixture, stirring until thickened.
    Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
    Just before serving, add sour cream and warm.
    Do not boil.
    Serve over rice or angel hair pasta.
    Thin slightly with milk, if needed. Serves 4.
