Pink Lozenger Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 lb. pink lozengers
1 1/4 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Cream together the sugar, butter and vanilla.
Dissolve the lozengers in sweet milk.
The pink mixture is added gradually with the flour and baking powder to creamed batter.
After the batter is entirely smooth, add the beaten whites of four eggs.
Sift flour and baking powder together.
