Cinnamon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 to 1 1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    2 to 3 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients to a boil and let thicken.
    Remove from heat and add butter and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
    Delicious over gingerbread.
