Breakfast Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. softened margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    6 bacon strips (crisp), crumbled
Preparation
    Mix softened margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt.
    Mix in Cheddar cheese, oatmeal and wheat germ.
    Add bacon strips.
    Spoon onto ungreased (no-stick) cookie sheet by the tablespoonful.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool.
    Makes 2 dozen cookies.
