Strawberry Angel Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large pkg. wild strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 c. whipped topping
4 c. angel food or pound cake cubes
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and chill until slightly thickened.
Sprinkle sugar over sliced strawberries. Blend whipped topping into thickened gelatin, then fold in cake cubes and strawberries.
Spoon into a 10-inch tube pan and chill until firm, at least 3 hours.
Unmold onto serving plate.
Garnish with additional whipped topping and fresh strawberries.
