German Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Sift together flour, soda and salt; mix well.
    Add chocolate that has been softened.
    Blend together well.
    Cook in Bundt pan that has been greased and floured well.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
