Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Add rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
    Shape as desired.
    Bake on cookie sheet for about 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    While hot, roll thumb in powdered sugar.
