Jan'S Fried Squash Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. large squash blossom from any kind of squash
    oil for frying
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Wash and remove all green parts from the blossoms.
    Dip in beaten eggs.
    Then lay in flour to coat, pressing down on the blossom so it soaks up flour.
    Heat oil to medium.
    Fry until golden brown on each side.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Salt and pepper to taste as you are frying.
