Hearty Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
3 chopped green onions
3 grated potatoes
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 drops Tabasco sauce
4 cans chopped clams with juice
2 c. half and half
Preparation

Saute bacon until crisp in large kettle.
Remove and chop. Add onions, potatoes, green pepper, celery and garlic.
Add 2 cups chicken broth and seasonings.
Cover kettle and simmer 20 minutes. Add clams and juice and half and half; heat until hot.
Do not boil.
Add chopped bacon.
Makes 6 servings.
