Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
Sift flour, sugar and soda together in a bowl.
Work shortening into this mixture. Add milk and yeast and mix well.
Cover and store in refrigerator and use as needed.
Will last several days, if desired.
