Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    3/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes, chopped
    1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 12 oz. pkg. spaghetti
    Parmesan cheese, grated
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Heat oil in heavy skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper and garlic and cook until onion is lightly browned.
    Add meat and brown.
    Then add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer slowly 1 1/2 - 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
    Serve with Parmesan cheese.
