Mom'S Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 to 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 (2 lb. 3 oz.) Italian tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 or 2 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil.
    Saute onions, garlic and parsley until tender (5 minutes).
    Add meat; saute until browned.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, oregano, basil and pepper.
    Mix well, mashing tomatoes.
    Let simmer for 2 hours or longer, stirring occasionally.
