Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
4 c. flour
1 lb. chopped dates
1 lb. chopped orange slice candy
2 c. nuts
3 1/2 oz. coconut

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
Beat well.
Combine baking soda and buttermilk.
Combine flour, dates, candy, nuts and coconut.
Beat well.
Be sure all are coated with flour so they will not stick together.
