Strawberry-Rhubarb Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
    2 c. fresh or frozen rhubarb, sliced
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
Preparation
    Stir equal amounts of shortening and hot water until shortening is melted.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 3 times as much flour as water.
    Easier to mix and handle than other pie crusts.
