Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. cheese, grated
    jalapeno peppers (to please your family)
Preparation
    Grease a large skillet.
    Heat and sprinkle a layer of meat in skillet; saute and let it brown slightly.
    Drain.
    Pour in 1/2 of the batter, then meat, next onion and finally pepper.
    Pour remaining batter on top and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
