Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn
    1/2 stick (1/4 c.) margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Pop popcorn and place in brown grocery bag.
    Mix together in a 4-cup measuring cup and cook on High in microwave for 3 minutes the next 3 ingredients.
    Remove from oven and add the remaining ingredients.
    Mix well. Pour liquid mixture over popped corn in bag and shake or stir with long-handled wooden spoon.
    Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Open bag, shake and close bag.
    Microwave again 1 1/2 minutes on High.
    Open bag, shake and close bag. Microwave 30 seconds on High.
    Pour corn onto waxed paper-covered cookie sheet(s) to cool.
    When cool, break apart and store in plastic bag or eat it!
