Norwegian Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
2 medium cooking apples, cored and chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
vegetable cooking spray
1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
Add apple, stirring lightly to coat.
Combine egg and vanilla, add to apple mixture, stirring until dry ingredients are moist.
Spoon mixture into a 9-inch pie plate, coated with cooking spray.
Arrange almonds as desired on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
Makes 6 servings (approximately 172 calories per serving, fat 3.3).
