Ingredients

1 can French-style string beans
1 tsp. pickling spices
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tsp. liquid artificial sweetener
Preparation

Steam the beans 5 minutes or less.
Strain the juice off.
In a different pot, mix the pickling spices into the vinegar and liquid sweetener.
Bring to a boil.
Strain.
Pour over beans and let stand overnight.
