Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 bananas, crushed
    1/4 c. nutmeats (optional)
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening, then add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Add bananas and nuts, then fold in dry ingredients, sifted.
    Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 1 loaf.
