Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    7 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 bottles red food coloring
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs, one at a time.
    Add buttermilk and flour mixture starting and ending with flour. Preheat oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
