Savory Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/4 c. dry white wine or water
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
    8 oz. stewed tomatoes
    1 c. water
    2 slices crisp, crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Cook celery and onions in butter until tender, but not brown. Blend in flour.
    Add remaining ingredients except bacon; cook and stir until slightly thick.
    Reduce heat and cook slowly for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Garnish with bacon.
