Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
2 eggs, separated
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar.
Add beaten yolks, then flour and pecans. Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour in greased baking pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 or 30 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
