Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    5 tsp. melted butter
    2 1/2 c. finely sliced onions
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Make a pie crust out of cracker crumbs and butter.
    Press into an 8-inch pie pan.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Saute onions in oil and put in pie shell.
    Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over onions.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Wonderful pie!
