Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 cans tomato sauce
    chili powder to taste
    salt to taste
    2 large cans red kidney beans (undrained)
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In Dutch oven or a large kettle, saute onion and green peppers in oil for 5 minutes or until soft.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add beef or turkey; cook slowly until lightly browned.
    Stir often, breaking meat apart.
    Add in tomato sauce and remaining seasonings.
    Cook tightly covered over low heat for about 20 minutes.
    Add beans; stir well.
    Simmer uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice or use for another favorite, chili dogs.
