Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 egg
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
2 Tbsp. baking powder
milk
deep fat for frying

Preparation

Mix all
ingredients
with
just
enough milk for stiff dough. Drop into deep fat until brown.
