Fourteen Carat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    4 eggs
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift together first 5 ingredients.
    Add sugar, oil and eggs, mixing well.
    Stir in carrots, drained pineapple and nuts.
    Turn into 3 greased and floured 9-inch layer cake pans or a 13 x 9-inch pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes, until top springs back when lightly touched.
    Cool a few minutes in pans; turn onto wire racks to cool.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
