Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skins; chill.
    Then peel and grate in large bowl.
    In saucepan over low heat (or in microwave), put butter and cheese; stir until melted.
    Remove from heat, blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Pour mixture over potatoes; mix well. Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
