Flaky Never Fail Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2/3 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together in mixing bowl.
    Cut in Crisco well.
    Add milk and stir quickly with fork only until dough follows fork around bowl.
    Turn on lightly floured surface and knead gently with heel of hand.
    Pat dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
