Chocolate Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 oz. sweet chocolate bits
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut (preferably moist)
Preparation

Melt chocolate in double boiler.
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar.
Continue beating until mixture stands in peaks.
Add salt, vanilla and melted chocolate.
Add coconut.
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto glazed paper.
Bake 20 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
Cool slightly before removing from paper.
