Sheath Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco (8 Tbsp.)
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. water
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add soda to 1/2 cup buttermilk and reserve.
    Sift together flour and sugar.
    Bring Crisco, cocoa and water to a boil.
    Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and mix in the buttermilk mixture, eggs and vanilla.
    Pour into greased, floured 11 x 16-inch pan and bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
