Christmas Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 carrot - peeled & chopped really fine
1 onion - peeled & chopped really fine
2 stalks celery - chopped really fine
3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. tomatoes -- (large can of Progresso whole tomatoes with basil, chopped medium or fine, with juice)
2 c. chicken broth (2 cans)
1 clove
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 clove minced garlic
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 cup half & half
1 egg yolk (beaten & mixed in with half & half)
Preparation
