Pumpkin Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines spice cake mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco oil or Puritan oil
    1 (18 oz.) can pumpkin pie filling
    1 box Cool Whip
    pecan halves (if desired)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stir together dry cake mix, salt, baking soda and oil until blended.
    Add nuts if desired.
    Spread evenly in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until crust is brown around the edges.
