Whole Wheat Brick Alley Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1 c. raisins
    1 beaten egg white
Preparation
    In a large bowl combine flours, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
    Combine the 1 beaten egg, buttermilk and honey.
    Add egg mixture to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
    Stir in raisins.
    Turn dough out onto a greased baking sheet; pat with wet fingers to an 8-inch round (dough will be wet).
    Brush with egg white.
