String Bean Amondine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. string or green beans
    1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
    1/4 c. sliced natural almonds
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Prepare
    beans in 12-inch skillet or 1 (4 quart) saucepan. Heat 1 inch of water to boiling; add beans and simmer 10 minutes. Drain
    beans and transfer to bowl.\tIn same pan melt butter;
    add almonds
    and
    cook\tuntil
    golden
    brown.
    Spoon almonds and butter mixture over beans.\tAdd salt and pepper.
