Nutty Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and nuts.
    In another bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, butter and vanilla; add to flour mixture and mix well.
    Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead slightly.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with biscuit cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheets.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
