Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cornstarch
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 1/4 c. water
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt in pan.
    Stir in water.
    Cook, stirring until smooth and thick.
    Remove from heat and add to beaten yolks.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Remove and add butter and lemon juice.
    Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue and place under broiler until light brown.
