Aunt Lora'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

10 eggs
2 c. plain flour
2 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 lb. crystallized pineapple
1 lb. cherries, halved
1 lb. citron, finely cut
4 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. wine
1 lb. butter
10 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. flour (1 self-rising, 3 plain)
1/2 c. syrup
3/4 tsp. soda
3/4 c. wine
2 lb. raisins (1 seeded, 1 seedless; may use only seedless)
1 lb. each: pineapple, cherries and citron, finely cut
1 qt. nuts, finely cut
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time.
Stir the soda into the syrup and add to the egg mixture.
Then add the flour and wine alternately.
Put into 2 large pans which have been lined with wax paper and greased.
