Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped or small carton Cool Whip
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve the sugar and Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water.
    Add the remaining 3/4 cup water and refrigerate until partially set.
    Fold in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into mold or square pan. Refrigerate until set.
