Wacky Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. oleo, melted (1 1/2 sticks)
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Mix dry ingredients thoroughly.
Add melted oleo, water, vinegar and vanilla.
Mix quickly by folding in and stirring.
Do not beat with electric mixer.
Pour in greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350` for 30 minutes.
Do not underbake.
Makes two 9-inch square pans or 3 layers or one 9 x 13-inch pan.
